Zepar is on bad terms with his Uncle, the Demon King Beleth, despite the fact he is his heir. Because Zepar's mother broke tradition and abandoned Beleth, Zepar does not have access to the royal ether, which makes him the first heir to the demon throne in 700 generations to be removed from the original demonic power. Even without this, however, he remains one of the strongest demons in existence to this day. Aside from his cousin Prince Penemuel, he is one of the only demons alive with the ability to summon multiple minions at once.
His minions are Enepsigos and Enigma, who represent the passion and resolve of his soul respectively.
In The Devil's Smile he falls in love with the angel Mihr, the next Queen of Heaven.
